The County is holding community drop-in meetings to advise residents on how their property will be zoned under the 2021 Land Development Code, and what that entails. The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 27th.

About the Event
Rewritten LDC (Land Development Code) and Zoning changes - The LDC is a set of regulations that govern land use and development in unincorporated areas (Ballentine is one) of the county, and covers standards for zoning districts and dwelling units allowed per acre, permitted uses, signage landscaping and other rules.
Richland County Staff will be hosting meetings to discuss these changes. The rewritten LDC was passed by Richland County Council in 2021.
